Froggy Hollow is a quiet stretch of forest along Cayadutta Creek near my hometown in the Adirondack Mountains. It's a place I've returned to since childhood, a sanctuary where countless hours were spent exploring, observing, and reconnecting with nature. The tree featured in this photograph stands there as a familiar presence, making this image more than a landscape to me; it's a portrait of a place that has profoundly shaped my relationship with the natural world.
